Our annual Divots for Duxbury Golf Tournament took place on Monday September 21st, 2009. The event was a huge success with a near sell out and ideal weather. It was a fabulous day on the Duxbury Yacht Club course followed by a reception at the Art Complex Museum of Duxbury. Thanks to our generous sponsors and players we exceeded our goal to raise $30,000 for Duxbury Schools!
"Divots" is one of the DEF’s largest fund-raising events of the year. The tournament is played in a casual scramble format and includes womens and mens teams. Participating golfers pay a tax-deductible entry fee, and individual and corporate sponsorships are also available. The best part is, it’s all for a great cause - to raise money to fund innovative programs in the Duxbury Public Schools.
