Entertaining for Education will take place March 5 - 15, 2009.
Host alone or with a friend! Whether it's dinner, a luncheon, a girls night out, or a big shin-dig, the DEF is looking for parents to host an event of their choice and invite friends and neighbors. It's a terrific way to gather with friends and support the Duxbury public schools!
We would like to extend a special thanks to all who participated in these fun fundraisers in 2008, particularly the hosts who opened their homes! As a result of their efforts, over 200 residents participated and made generous contributions to the DEF. These contributions have funded grants in the Duxbury Public Schools for many innovative educational programs benefiting students now and for years to come.
We would also like to applaud our hosts for their creative entertaining ideas- guests gathered at luncheons, brunches, a girl’s night out-complete with manicures and fortune telling, a neighborhood progressive dinner, Saint Patty’s Day party and even a 70’s costume party.
DEF Board members Cattinna Giumetti, Jennifer Fallon and Laurie Gallagher meet to finalize plans for the 2008 Dinners for Duxbury.
Stay tuned for the 2009 Dinners for Duxbury date.
