DEF an 'Irreplaceable' Support for Schools <<Link to Duxbury Clipper>> Duxbury, MA, November 18, 2008 - The Duxbury Education Foundatioin has become a valuable partner for the Duxbury Public Schools, providing through grants and opportunities the district wouldn't normally be able to afford.
Press Release - Over $690,000 funded by DEF - Duxbury, MA July 7, 2008 - <<Full Press Release>> Over the past 19 years, the Duxbury Education Foundation has raised funds, as seed money, for teachers, staff and administrators to search out innovative ways to enhance education in Duxbury public schools. To date, the DEF has approved and funded over $690,000 in grants.
DEF Awards $107,000 to Schools <<Link to Duxbury Clipper>> February 26, 2008 - This past grant round for the fall of 2007 reached a milestone for the DEF, awarding over $80,000 of grant money. Collectively, the 2007 spring and fall grant rounds totaled over $107,000.
On Wednesday, August 15, 2007 Duxbury resident Tracy Stenner (Zolla) of Battelle presented the Duxbury Education Foundation (DEF) with a check for $4500. Each year Battelle donates money to the DEF to fund science and math programs in the Duxbury Public Schools.

Press Release - DEF community Spelling Bee fast approaching, Foundation awards $33,000 to Schools Duxbury, MA January 15, 2007 - The 2007 Duxbury Education Foundation (DEF) Community Spelling Bee will be held on Monday, February 12th at the Performing Art Center. Spellers and sponsors are needed. The DEF Spelling Bee is being generously sponsored by Summit Educational Group.
