Do you have a creative, innovative idea that could improve your school and educational experience? We want to make it a reality!

DEF is excited to launch a Student Led Grant initiative to give students the opportunity to think creatively, develop innovative solutions for their school, and gain experience developing and presenting a proposal to improve their educational experience.

We invite DHS, DMS and Alden students to partner with a teacher sponsor to put together a Grant request for the Board of Trustees. How to apply?

  • Identify a unique solution to improve your school (solo or with classmates)

  • Review the Educational Project Grants Criteria to ensure your grant meets the requirements.

  • Partner with a teacher sponsor at your school

  • Complete the Student Grant Led Proposal Form

  • The winners will secure funding for their innovative idea!

Duxbury Education Foundation is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1989 to help fund innovative educational programs in the Duxbury school system. Grants have provided Duxbury schools with Fitdesk bikes, MIT DNA/RNA/Protein synthesis LEGO kits, the outdoor classroom, a rock wall, iPad Peers, canoe building kits, books for poetry book club, forensic class software, and much more!
