Join us for this family-friendly 5K Walk/Run through Duxbury’s scenic neighborhoods on the morning of July 4th—all while supporting innovative educational programs in Duxbury Public Schools!
This year’s event is part of a historic moment as we mark America’s 250th anniversary, honoring the spirit, resilience, and community that have shaped our nation since 1776.
Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join in the fun and embrace the celebration by dressing in red, white, and blue, patriotic gear, or creative colonial- and Americana-inspired costumes. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or participating with friends and family, the energy and enthusiasm of the day are what make this event special.
Come celebrate 250 years of independence, community, and tradition—run, walk, dress up, and be part of a milestone Fourth of July in Duxbury.

🕗 Kids Fun Run starts on the track at 8:00 AM | 5K Walk/Run starts at 8:30 AM
📍 Steele Athletic Building, 130 St. George Street, Duxbury
🎟️ Limited Spots! Only 1,000 bibs available for 5K and 100 bibs for Kids Fun Run
🏅 Awards for top finishers in each age category and the most patriotic runner
👕 1,000 5K Road Race participants and 100 Kids Fun Run participants receive a DEF July 4th Road Race T-shirt! First come, first served.
